Kali Bartasavich is a North Carolina native whose training began at age three with a focus on ballet. She spent four years in the professional training program at Cary Ballet Conservatory, earning a Top 24 placement in Senior Women Classical at the 2020 Youth America Grand Prix, one of the world’s leading pre‑professional ballet competitions. In 2021, she entered the University of South Florida’s BFA Dance program with a concentration in ballet, where she expanded her work to include modern, contemporary, and choreography.
At USF, Bartasavich performed in a wide range of repertory for the university’s fall and spring concerts, appearing in works by Andrew Carroll, Paula Nunez, and Bliss Kohlmyer. She also developed a growing choreographic portfolio, creating original work for the university’s Student Dance Production, a group piece for her BFA final presentation, and a solo that highlighted her technical clarity and creative voice.
With a strong classical foundation and an emerging presence as a choreographer, Bartasavich continues to shape her path as a thoughtful and versatile artist. She currently dances professionally with Tampa City Ballet, contributing to the company’s productions with precision, musicality, and a deep commitment to her craft.
